I am new to the leather-craft trade. I’ve seen so many wonderful items made by real leather artisans. I decided to jump into this work, not to sell, but to hopefully make my own handcrafted items for family and friends. Making something for someone seems like a lost art.

BuckleGuy has been this source of knowledge for me, as they point out what leather can be used for what projects. This covers hardware too. Their products videos are phenomenal and well done, and something a newcomer can learn from quickly. I really like their “ready to assemble” kits which helped me determine if this is the craft for me. Their products are reasonably priced and the BuckleGuy staff is the best, extremely knowledgeable, helping me find a new hobby.

"BuckleGuy English Bridle leather" I purchased a few W&C English Bridle Belly leather from BuckleGuy, and I was very impressed with the quality cuts I received and how my projects turned out. In my opinion Wickett & Craig English Bridle leather is great quality through out the whole side, even the belly. I know the belly is considered the lowest grade or scrap leather but if you're crafting smaller projects or would like to try a sample before buying a whole side you can still craft awesome projects with W&C English Bridle Belly... BuckleGuy offers great , affordable , cuts of W&C English Bridle Belly and I would recommend BG to anyone, you won't be disappointed. The buckle guys site is filled with a ton of selections for your leather needs plus the order process was painless. I was notified as soon as my items shipped and they were at my front door within days.
