TLDR: From the first contact to loading the Liberty Z mower on to my trailer the customer service was overwhelmingly positive.

I've been personally researching the best option for residential home use zero turn mowers and was recommended to check out SCAG. I found J.M. Hayden Equipment via the manufacturer website as it was nearest to me.

I reached out and spoke directly with Ruth on the sales team who answered my questions and when she couldn't, she was quick to follow up. She was patient and took the time to talk to me and treat me like a human not just another sale. Additionally, she assisted me through the entire sales process and ensured my mower was loaded up safely!

Lastly, Sean was a wealth of knowledge and his level of customer service was amazing. As someone who has never operated a Zero turn mower he was able to relay important information concisely and efficiently. Taking the time to walk me through the mower operation, maintenance and what to watch out for.

While trying to start my generator this Tuesday during Tropical Storm Isaias, I discovered the fuel shut off valve had failed and separated from the fuel tank. I brought the tank in for John to have a look see. When the valve failed there was a piece that had fused into the tank body. He said he would have one of his technicians look at used equipment to see if a valve could be salvaged and installed on my tank. John and his workers came through with flying colors and had my tank ready for me to install when I returned. This saved me from having to potentially dump my refrigerator and freezer contents. What is really important here was John's willingness to tackle this small job. His shop is very busy with commercial work and this did not amount to a big transaction. But to me it was very important. Not having any power during this hot weather is not pleasant. John's team work is excellent and he is committed to only doing the best quality work. We go through a lot of parts, not because of poor manufacturing, but because we are a proving ground for how hard a poor machine can be worked.
