City Limits Hair Design — Local services in Nicholasville

Was a couple minutes early for my appointment. I said "hello" upon entering but did not get any acknowledgement.  Megan was still busy with a prior client. After about 15 minutes she was finally done. Instead of now addressing me she just stood there, chatting away with the 2 clients and the second hairdresser while the minutes ticked away. I finally had it and left. Megan clearly does not need my business. Good for her! I did find that behavior rude and disrespectful of my time.

After I left I received a text from Megan where she apologized for her behavior by saying: "This is a small town salon and We are all friends here. I am only human..." I did not know that small towns make for unprofessional service. 🤔 Oh and in the end I am actually grateful I had this experience as I found a lovely, kind and fun hairdresser who only charges $25 instead of the $45, Megan is asking. I only scheduled with Megan, because the hairstylist that I had an appt with had canceled on me last minute. I searched the Google and found CLHD; Megan had one slot open on that day. I scheduled and never regretted it. After this hair cut, it was the first time that I was comfortable wearing my hair down at work (I work in a hospital). I have curly hair but it can get kinda crazy. When I came and explained what I liked and didnt like, by her responses I could tell that I can trust her that she won't mess things up. She didn't. I have been going to Patty for 21years, ever since my daughter was 5, she’s now 26. I’m always satisfied with my cuts, color, and waxing. Patty is just a wonderful person and really knows what she’s doing when it comes to hair.
