Attended the (partial) Eclipse Viewing Party at Spring Lake Park Schaar's Bluff Gathering Center today. Glad I went, even though it was too cloudy to view the Eclipse. We could watch the NASA version on the big sceen there as it crossed the country. Free Wi-Fi is available. Such a beautiful park all the time, saw eagles, and other birds. They had a food truck there, and lots of friendly Park Rangers were available. They had beaded bracelets to make, as well as diy cardboard viewers for anyone to make and take. Plus viewing glasses for the Eclipse. Even a bonfire pit outside to keep warm. So much fun to visit with friends as well! Beautiful venue for special occasions or meetings as well.
