The water department is a joke. First of all they will charge you 200.00 for a “service fee” which I have been informed is non refundable. Then when you get your last bill they will charge you DOUBLE your monthly bill. But tell you that they will send the last bill to your new address which won’t come in until your last bill is past due and will want to charge you a bunch of fees bc the bill is late. When I called and asked about it she said that the bill is late and that’s late fees. And I told her I only just received the bill 2 days ago which they were closed bc I received it over the weekend. I have never seen a woman so hateful and ugly about a single mother getting help for her 260 dollar water bill. She is so ready to cut it off so you would get niota an extra 50 dollars for cutting it back on. Something is not right about that water company and the amount my bill is and I will be contacting someone not in Niota to see if there even reading my meter. The office help does not have people skills. The Manger knows how to talk with customers. But they do not know how to treat faithful customers. I don't think good faithful customers should be treated the same as unfaithful customers. That is no way to run a business. I guess I will look into...
