Kinda wish I'd never had THE. BEST. HOT CHOCOLATE. IN THE WORLD.

Now everything else will be a disappointment. Have you seen the movie, "Chocolat"? Do you remember the scene where Dame Judy Dench tastes the hot chocolate for the first time (um, and then at the end of the movie there's Johnny Depp + hot chocolate... but I digress)? Well, the hot chocolate served here nearly did me in it was so beyond-description-good.

$2.50 or so for 8 oz for The Best Hot Chocolate In The World ( have him use whole milk and get on with it, cut calories somewhere else, some other day). He offers a 16 oz serving but I don't recall the price. There was a little bit of chocolate that settled in the bottom of the cup. Popped the cup into the fridge and a few days later reheated it with a wee bit of whole milk and it even turned out so, so good.

He has a wild variety of excellent hand made chocolates. I've tried many varieties and all have been very good. This shop is on the same block as the free parking lot offered by City of Hillsboro so don't worry about there not being enough on-street parking right in front.

CAUTION: The temperature is hotter than anything I've ever experienced in a food or beverage and stays that hot longer than I anticipated. No idea how that is possible but, wow, trust me on this. Be aware and have a little patience/restraint so You don't...

Love the nice things the shop does for events (Valentines, Easters, Halloween) Bars are delicious. I've tried lavender, curry, matcha, lemon blueberry pie, matcha. All in dark chocolate. One of the favorites is the large snyders sprinkle chocolate covered pretzels.
