Five Years of Consistent Excellence

I've been a loyal customer of Ombre Salon for five years now.  It may be closer to six years, having followed them from their prior location in the Avenues to their newer spot in Ponte Vedra Beach. My go-to service is a men's haircut and shampoo, and each visit has consistently left me impressed and satisfied.

Making appointments is a breeze, and the automatic reminders sent to my mobile phone ensure that I never miss a visit.

Over the years and between both locations, I've had the pleasure of experiencing the skills and friendly conversations of three different stylists, including my primary stylist, Nancy. Each stylist has brought their unique touch to the table, and I've walked away from every appointment very satisfied with the haircut. What truly sets Nancy and the others apart is their meticulous attention to detail, even with a simple men's haircut. Nancy, in particular, has consistently nailed the cut, understanding my preferences and making subtle adjustments with the changing seasons.

The customer service is top-notch based on my experience during every visit. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, from the receptionist, who offers a drink upon arrival, to the stylists who take the time to understand and deliver the perfect haircut. The waiting area has a large TV and a fascinating saltwater reef tank, making any brief wait before appointments enjoyable.

I visited this salon for the first time today. Overall the experience was good and I feel like my stylist did a good job with my hair. During my shampoo process I felt the back of my shirt become soaking wet but I didn’t say anything because I thought “whatever it’s just water, it’ll dry.” I was really sad to realize after going home that one of my favorite t-shirts was completely damaged from the hair bleach. I’m embarrassed that I stopped by Publix on my way home and walked around the store with my shirt looking like an ugly mess of bleach unbeknownst to me. I’m not sure if the stylist noticed it when I got up but she chose not to say anything to me, but it was very obvious. I’ve never had this happen at any salon I’ve used in the past. I usually wear tops I don’t care about to hair salons for this reason but let my guard down this time because my shirts have always been unharmed at previous salons. Overall decent haircut and eyebrow wax experience, just warning others to make sure you don’t wear anything you care about because the shampoo process can be a bit messy here comparative to other salons. My husband has been having his hair cut by Genesis at Ombre Salon for a few years now, and sys that she does the best cut he's ever had. I agree! I personally have a long history of bad haircuts, such that I finally decided never to visit another salon. For over 20 years, my husband (after our watching many videos) has cut my hair. Since he was so complimentary of Genesis and the salon, I finally got brave this spring and took the plunge. Wow, was I thrilled! The salon is lovely, folks are very nice, and Genesis was awesome, taking a lot of time to be certain that what she was doing was what I wanted.
