I recently had lunch at Kotobuki Asian Cuisine and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The sushi I had was hands down the freshest sushi I've ever had in the 904 area. Each bite was bursting with flavor and the quality of the fish was outstanding.
The service at Kotobuki was truly fabulous. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations.
While the sake selection was generous, I couldn't help but wish for a larger variety. Doubling the size of the sake selection would be a great improvement for sake enthusiasts like myself.
One aspect that could be improved is the chopsticks. Although they were functional, investing in better quality chopsticks would enhance the dining experience and add a touch of authenticity to the restaurant.
In terms of decor, I found it to be a bit bland. While it didn't detract from the overall experience, a more vibrant and visually appealing ambiance would greatly complement the amazing food.
All in all, Kotobuki Asian Cuisine left a lasting impression on me with its incredibly fresh sushi, fabulous service, and generous sake selection. With a few minor improvements in the chopsticks and decor, this place would easily be a five-star gem. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional Asian...
Read moreWe've ordered sushi, soba and udon soup, hibachi, bento boxes, and tempura. Hibachi's been great, so have soups, bento boxes ok but didn't like the seaweed salad, tempura great. Their sushi can be put together differently. We ordered shrimp tempura rolls and they came with just the shrimp inside, no vege. Shrimp in hibachi big and delicious. The usual clear or miso soup are a dollar extra to add to your meal, don't come with them. Better to take out. Atmosphere just ok and weird unappetizing smell. Friendly family owned, conscientious being served, nice meal presentation. Close to Nocatee and only Japanese nearby we patronize due to declining food quality at 1/3rd Asian and Yummy Asian. I meant, definitely not Yummy Asian, take out for sure never saw worse and poor service. Miss the Japanese Steakhouse we had growing up in Jacksonville with bean sprouts on the grill instead of unappetizing noodles. Also loved the mustard sauce that came with the grill. Nobody anywhere has that any more. Nothing like the original Shogun in Arlington back in the...
Read moreWe’ve never ate inside the restaurant but I order their sushi at least 1-3 times per month! I absolutely think it’s the best I’ve had. I particularly am partial to Wednesday nights because for some reason my salmon rolls taste better on that night. Not sure why but that’s the day I order it. I’ve had it other nights and it was delicious but for some reason, Wednesday is my favorite night. 😂 The service is great! The owner always knows my husband when he picks up the order to go and he even calls him by name. When I go do the pick up ( not very often) he always ask me how my husband is doing. To me that’s personal service that you don’t always find in a restaurant. The inside is small but there are always customers dining out when we go pick up our food. Oh I forgot to mention the price. VERY REASONABLE! You can’t even buy sushi in Publix for what they charge for a sushi roll!...
