Extra Space Storage — Local services in North Andover

You may be reading this and wondering "hmm so many good reviews, can these ratings really be legit?". I too would wonder. But having just been here to store my 1800 cc., just under 800 lbs. motercycle, I can attest to the validity of the reviews - especially in regards to the manager Jehan. To illustrate; I ask you this question: Would you be willing to risk destroying your lower back for the sake of providing above average customer service to a client? Also; how would your demeanor be after you spent 30 plus minutes struggling to help a customer manuver the previously described (near 800 pound) motorcycle through the twists and turns of one of the upper levels of the storage facility - would it be upbeat and friendly? Well if you are Jehan, then the answer to both those questions is yes. Jehan was literally willing to put "his back into it" in order to help me lift the rear tire of the bike so that we could turn some of the tight corners. Not only that, but he showed more concern about not scratching the bike than I did! Finally; after our herculean (and somewhat insane) attempts to manuver my mechanical beast into storage, he was completely personable and jovial as he recalled some of his experinces driving a motorcycle when he was younger... Ok, I guess this review has gotten long enough. Have I convinced you of the validity of these reviews? I don't know. But I can tell you that today Jehan convinced me of one thing - exceptional customer service is not just a meaningless mantra produced by some hollow marketing campain. This is an edit. I only wish I could rate this facility zero stars. North Andover employee had been covering for Dracut life storage. The employee (who was from North Andover storage facility) took my phone to give himself 5 stars. At the time I thought that he was rude to take my phone to give himself 5 stars but I let it go. However, after a month of interacting with this gentleman I feel it’s important to give an accurate review. He did not earn the 5 stars that he gave himself. He is unprofessional. Horrible customer service. The facility is dirty. Doors are rarely secured. They are often knocked off the track and left open. The elevator (when it is working) is a scary experience. Door closes very slowly and I find myself hoping that it will open again. In the past month, the elevator was not working at all for at least four days. When I decided to move out, this employee said they would not refund the credit on my account. I had to take some some of their overpriced boxes instead of being given a cash refund. He was extremely rude. He said, “ why can’t people be normal. Why is everyone so angry. “ That response suggests that I am not the only customer that is extremely dissatisfied with this employee. My final decision to vacate was due to how I was treated by this unprofessional (North Andover) life...

Shah an employee from Life Storage is one of the sweetest men I know! This man went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me! He is extremely professional, EXTREMELY helpful, and reassured me of the safety of my belongings!😊I love Life Storage in North Andover and I highly recommend this facility to store your belongings! This was the best experience that could possibly be! I am SO HAPPY there are still a few good people left in this world! With Shah I felt like I had my own personal assistant, which you don't get anywhere anymore. I loved my experience today and highly recommend this wonderful man to help you with your needs!
