It's definitely a day hike because it is short. However, it is steep (over 100 large stairs). If you start at the trail head near the visitor center, you'll be sweaty and tired when you get back. If you start from the trail head below, it's refreshing to take a dip & walk back down. Even with the kids and dogs splashing nearby, we found a quiet spot to watch wildlife. The snake & bees wanted to cool off, too! 😁❤️ A beautiful place! With that said... PLEASE BRING A BAG & take your trash out with you. The audacity of some people... a lady wrapped up a diaper and tried to hide it under the rock where we saw a snake. Another family just tossed their kid's wet diaper on the ground. People tossed tank tops, socks, food...
