This was our 1st waterfall to see when arriving at Hanging Rock State Park. Getting there wasn't so hard. About a mile to get to but very good walk with the family. Don't forget to take your DSLR camera! I wish I would have but of course, I wasn't so sure how safe and how much walking I'd do that day. Less weight the better I thought šŸ˜…

Itā€™s a little trek from the visitor center parking lot. Starts out very easy and lots of picnic areas for groups and families. Getting to the falls has some steep stairs to go down so be prepared. The falls themselves are nice but a pretty small area and could get crowded quick.

As the trail map says not a easy hike in, but we'll worth it. Could definitely see some people struggling with the hike in, and out. Give yourself some extra time and water when planning on this hike. Our family of three and a dog had a great time. Cool water and fantastic waterfalls definitely stop at both the falls...

Nice area and short walk from trailhead (about 1/2 mile), however the trail is listed as ā€œmoderateā€ mainly because at the end there are about 50 steps leading down to the base of the falls. Hidden Falls is fairly small, but another 1/2 away is Window Falls, which is a...
