A fail from the beginning. We get to the park at 10am and the park Attendent comes from her car to open...should have been open at 8am. $7 to get in and she has no change so she kept the $10. We drive to tour the home of Custer and we are informed we can look in the windows since there is a school touring at 1pm.....it is 10am and they are doing NOTHING. We decide to drive through the park but all roads are gated and locked. It states open 8am-10pm. We leave and decide we are asking for our money back and at 10:15am the girl and her car are gone and people are just driving through.Drove 2 days from Ohio and sorry this was one of the things my husband was looking forward to seeing.    Read morePositive note Actors were very well dressed, costumes were very good, great decor,great atmosphere. Negative , sent to many people in at one time some were very slow getting through witch made everyone bunched in there at one time and it made the timing off for second and third group to be scared by the actors. I literally followed 2 of the actors out following the group in front of me. Just bad timing on their part and overwhelmed the actors to do their part. Can’t scare 3 groups of people walking through at once. 5 at a time until that 5 exit would’ve made this experience way better and worth the...
   Read moreThe Custer House tour at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park was a wonderful glimpse into the life of Custer and the other officers who lived at the Fort in the late 1800s. Although Custer and Libby lived in the house a relatively short time. The house has been remodeled and furnished to replicate the period. There are also some photos and displays that share info about the Custers and other officers of the period.
