Chipper's Trains & Collectibles — Local services in North Franklin Township

I recently bought a aristo craft engine from this place. The two men who were working there were very helpful and fair on prices. The selection is great and they have a lot more than just trains. They recently got a lot of g scale engines and cars and track, the biggest collection of g scale engines and cars I have seen in any store. I would say this is one of, if not my favorite train store I’ve been to, a gem in the rough.

After purchasing a metal cap pistol for my 7 year old grandson, it broke on the second day of playing with it. Called Chippers they said the consignment owner would refund the whole purchase price. (Even though it clearly states on the sales invoice no refunds). I was surprised but very happy. Went to return it and NOPE! Only store credit. And only from the case that the cap gun was bought. Hmmmm. I saw a lot of old nun dolls that were super creepy. Would’ve been nice if the owner just said no refunds... There just is no customer...

This is a wonderful shop with a great owner and extremely helpful, kind staff. I am new to the train hobby and was having a issue with a slight scraping noise after only running for 3 hours (train not purchased from this store). I brought it in and they helped me right away and resolved the issue! We have been back 3 times so far and have purchased a few hundred dollars in trains.
