Wickford Mini Mart — Local services in North Kingstown

I've been a customer at Wickford Mini Mart for about a year and a half now, conveniently located down the street from my residence. I've always been pleased with their fast and courteous service. The store is on the smaller side, but it stocks just about everything I need.

I made my usual tri-weekly trip late this afternoon and because I had a long strenuous day working in Newport, I was a little weary when I stopped in today. I accidentally left some cash on the counter. I called a few hours later after back-tracking my day, and the gentleman behind the counter (one of the owners I think) said he found my cash and put it aside for me. When I returned to pick it up at nighttime, he wouldn't take any reward I offered to him.

I am so grateful for this hard-working family and I am especially thankful there are still honest people left in this world today! I wish them all the best with their business and I will continue to be a loyal customer. I urge others in the Wickford-Hamilton area to patronize...

I just went in on a quick break to buy a bag of chips by Lay's for $2.69, obviously there is a tax. But I was charged $3.73 on my credit card. I went back immediately, since I work next door and the young lady at the counter stated she was blind. And continued to be smart saying there's no refunds lady. One,I was refunded for an item a year ago on a product. My bag of ice was cheaper this morning and if I had said that to a customer at my other job I'd be fired.The owner should be ashamed of herself for that kind of customer service. Any retail store would gladly refund the money. Not carry on like a clown behind the counter...

Great little shop down from where I live, its amazing and clean but there are not price tags for most of the items on shelf's. Prices are higher than most gas stations or mini marts. A chicken yakisoba was 3.00 dollars and a can of cherry Pepsi was 2.00 it came to a total of 5.11 not that bad. Overall it is a nice mini mart and I would recommend if you live nearby to stop by and see...
