Tony O's Supermarket and Catering — Local services in North Kingsville

I really feel like the quality at this supermarket has gone down. I bought cherry tomatoes a few days ago and after looking through nearly all of the moldy/old package that were in store, I finally settled on a package that looked somewhat okay. Got home, started cooked and tossed nearly the whole package because they were wrinkly and moldy. I think I was only able to use 6 cherry tomatoes from the whole package. I wasn’t able to tell the quality as all of the bad parts were turned away from the clear section of the packaging.

There have been multiple times I bought a dairy item to get home, use the item, just to realize it had gone bad prior to the expiration date.

Today while making a quick trip back to get last minute ingredients, the cashier (thank goodness for her, she’s always so sweet and helpful) asked me to grab another package of bagels as the one I had grabbed had a moldy spot roughly the size of the quarter on the underside of the package.

Normally I love shopping local and l truly don’t mind paying the higher prices for the convenience of the location to the village/family run business. But I just feel like for the price you are paying for items, you should at least get what you’re paying for. Disappointed to...

What AMAZING DEALS! Not only are the prices on the meats and the deli and the wine the best I have ever seen, but the quality is far superior to any stores that I have visited lately. I was able to sample about six of the salad items in the deli and I can attest that they were even better than mine! From the broccoli salad to The BLT salad to the chicken salad to the mozzarella I promise you won't be disappointed.
