Wow! The lines were long ,; notice the lines spilling into aisles. Over all the tellers basically all of them just moved kind of slow. The manager was on top of it as she could have been that day, going from looking over entire floor and checking occasional issues at registers, she was originally in customer service then jumped to my lines register where a Haitian lady had a misunderstanding with coupons after another associate left to help the original cashier(a very nice young hatian girl) the manager came.to see the 2nd associate kinda solved it already. Listen i mean no disrespect, but there are just cultural differences between ppl in the world and Caribbean people(and other foreigners) move alot slower than americans, their sense.of urgency is almost.non existent, thats what i see and saw my whole life in miami and nationwide, the very sweet cashier in my line couldnt solve the coupon issue in several minutes what took her associate a very short time to resolve was expired or something, another a Haitian gentelmen said the same thing i just said about cultural diffrences to me in english and then began to speak creole to.our cashier asking her why she was moving so slow and about procedure before the 2nd associate followed by manager solved the issue. ALL OF THE LINES were.moving slow. I noticed all of the cashiers were kinda slow, not really slow and idk how bad their days were, but training and sense of urgency is needed, i just moved to the area and ppl told me ots always like that and they hate goong there but its where they live. Read moreWhenever I'm trying to use a Winn Dixie digital coupon I run into a problem, but someone always make sure that I still get the item without the coupon, because the manager override the coupon. Today I walked in this Winn Dixie and for the first time the manger Guy tried for thirty minutes to find the coupon and I had some ice cream in my Cart too and I asked him if he could do the transmission manually and he said no, I was so frustrated that I asked him to give me back my phone, because my ice cream was melting. I then called customer and was telling my story when the representative said she is sorry that happened to me, and that I need to call back in two hours. I said WOW. So I'm writing this review because of the poor service that I received today 😭 Today I visited this Winn Dixie again since I posted the last review. The cashier is of hatian descendant, and she has no interpersonal skills, for example I walked in and the manager, a cashier and the customer service cashier was standing around at the counter speaking in Creole, I've never seen anything like it before a socialization moment. And the customer service cashier is so nonchalant, for example she doesn't speak, she doesn't say thank you and her face always look like she doesn't want to be at the store and I'm tired of her demeanor. Read moreI rushed to this Winn Dixie before it closed. With over 5 minutes remaining before close time I made it only to have someone named Linda standing at the door stating that they are closed. I asked her don't yall close at 11 pm? She stated that there was a long line and only one register open. I explained to her that I only had to get 2 things from the fruit section which was at the front of the store.
The right thing to do would have been to open another register. Instead at 11 pm exactly Linda got in her car and left. While the others stayed to deal with the customers. There should be a hiring event taking place at this Winn Dixie if there is constantly a staff shortage as the other comments mentioned. Gas prices are nearly $5 a gallon. No one should be turned away if the store is still open according to their operating hours on Google. This is very unprofessional, especially coming from a large franchise. I could have went to other stores that I passed along the way but unfortunately they closed at 11 pm. I never go out of my way to call corporate but this store has definitely earned it.
