Tattoo Faction — Local services in North Olmsted

As far as tattoo quality, my sisters, mother, and I are very pleased. As far as professionalism - because of Dan, we had a very negative experience. We made an appointment a month in advance to get 3 tattoos at noon on Sunday (very simple tattoos) - we knew we were going to pay more and going out of our way, but we had heard such good things about Tattoo Faction. We were told Dan would be taking care of us, but when we arrived at noon he was nowhere to be found. My mother joined us and asked if she could be squeezed in for her first tattoo. She was very excited and we were all excited to get her a tattoo on Mother's Day. Sadly, by 1:00, Dan had STILL not arrived. Paul graciously offered to squeeze us in around his appointments, but we felt bad for the people who had already scheduled with Paul (but frustrated because we all had to be somewhere at 3:00). Paul took care of me, as Dan arrived. When we finally got in to see Dan he made no attempt to apologize or even acknowledge that he was so late and then proceeded to get up and leave for 10 minutes between each of my sisters/mothers tattoos. I understand needing a cigarette break or something now and then, but not when you are late to our appointments and not three in a 2 hour period. We were so frustrated by that whole experience. Our tattoos look great, but Dan's professionalism will not bring me back to Tattoo Faction. Major kudos to Paul for doing my sister-in-law's tattoo and mine that day, and to the guy at the front who helped design and work with my very anxious mother on changing up the tattoo to be...

The shop itself was AWESOME. Loved Alexis and everything about the atmosphere, and store - except the artist.

The artist I had (Michael Lalli) was not as awesome as everything else. About an hour into the tattoo, I asked if I could take a break and look at the work so far, and he said “you’ll be able to look at it for the rest of your life. We have to keep going”. I understand I was a walk in, and he likely had an appointment but it was very uncomfortable knowing he wouldn’t give me a second to breath. I also asked for the tattoo to have a blank spine, and he shaded the whole thing black. I didn’t realize it until later, that he had not done what I asked. At the end of the tattoo, when giving the care instructions, he didn’t address me and only spoke to my boyfriend, who had been with me but not gotten tattooed.

Recently moved to Ohio and in looking for a new shop and artist I was very selective. First I found Cindy from their website and her excellent line work sold me on her as an artist. Stopped by the shop and I haven't seen such a clean and professional shop in all my years of getting inked. Miles (Myles?), the chap running the front desk, is affable, professional, is a delight. The other artists are all clearly very skilled, though Cindy is the highlight in my book. I've checked out several other tattoo shops in the Cleveland area and would first and foremost recommend Tattoo Faction.
