CubeSmart Self Storage — Local services in North Port

I’ve rented a lot of storage units over the years for cars, parts, and everything in between. This CubeSmart in North Port is easily the best one I’ve used. I live in Punta Gorda but picked this location because it’s brand new, out of the flood zone, right off I-75, and the price is great.

The staff is fantastic. Jess and Rosalee were super friendly, offered me water, showed me the unit, explained how everything works, and even helped my moving company with some shortcuts for unloading. They also gave me a great lunch recommendation, which I really appreciated.

They’ve got all the supplies you’d need like wardrobe boxes, locks, bubble wrap, and newsprint.

Quick tip: if you want a unit closer to the loading area, you can pay a little more for that. Worth it for the convenience.

Plenty of big, climate-controlled units too. Overall, a great experience and a well-run place....

I can’t say enough good things about Jess at CubeSmart. From the moment I walked in, she was welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful. She made the whole process of setting up my storage unit quick and stress-free, walking me through the options and making sure I got exactly what I needed.

What really stood out is how patient and personable she was—she took the time to answer all my questions (even the small ones) without ever making me feel rushed. It’s rare to find someone who’s not only efficient but also kind and approachable, and Jess is both.

Easy, seamless, and stress free experience when I rented my unit. Awesome facility. New, clean, and convenient. Jess was awesome. She had me taken care of in a very short time and I had the key to my unit in a matter of minutes. She was competent, knowledgeable, and personable.
