I was surprised to find a grinder and this brand of whole bean coffee in Drug Mart and thought I would give it a try. In grinding the beans it didn't have that good coffee smell and I didnt check to see that there was no date on the bag. I bought the medium blend Costa Rican which I found to be very weak and it didn't have that good coffee smell and it seemed to have a metallic taste. I drink my coffee black so the flavor is important. I actually dumped the first pot out and made another pot using more coffee which didnt improve the taste. This place is amazing if you like flavored coffees. They are not a retail space. They sell wholesale. You can find a lot of the flavors at Krieger in The Falls on Graham Rd.
