Sneads Ferry Community Center — Local services in North Topsail Beach

The sound quality in this place is horrible. You invited the middle school and highschool choir to sing for your Christmas in the Ferry, however and unfortunately there are some rude, loud mouthed, individuals who have not been taught respect in the ferry and your sound system had nothing to drown them out. Never once did the gentleman on the Mic ever ask for anyone to quiet down but y'all could yell out that someone was blocking the fire zone. Definatley not what was expected, nothing but chaos, and unorganized mixed with a bunch of folks who have no respect for anyone. Dixon Middle School and High School should never have to partake in this event...

We went to the Sneads Ferry Shrimp Feast. Maybe Friday and Saturday were better days to go. $15 per person to get in. $12 for the shrimp plate. $1-$10 for parking. We lucked out at the $1 place. Food was cold and the tea did not taste right. But the building had air conditioning.One row of expensive crafts. One and half rows of food venders. The $15 did include all the rides and music. Went to the "shrimp festival on Friday night." It turned out that there was shrimp on only Saturday and Sunday. Lots of signs all over announcing the Shrimp Festival on the 10th, 11th, and 12th. Just nothing to say dont come for the shrimp till the 11th. Lots of disipointed people who paid six dollars just to find out No Shrimp on a Friday.
