This is a quaint little drive inn. Actually it's the first drive inn ever! 😂 . Went here for the 50th anniversary showing of "Jaws" . 👍 Great on Huge outside Movie screen 😁. This place cost $12.00 an adult person to get in. The gates open up at 6:30 pm. They have free bathrooms, a small snack bar. And parking is two cars between blue poles and two trucks between the Yellow poles. If you are coming here best get to this Drive Inn early. For this Drive Inn is small. It's sometimes sells out fast depending on the movies playing. Yes All drive inns give you two moves per visit. Note once dark the movie doesn't start until about 39 to 25 minutes of ads and commercials and some puppy and cat clips are played????? The National Atthum wasn't played 😢 first time I ever been to a drive inn and the National Atthum was skipped! 😲 And no cartoon was played! Someone in our party stated the men's bathroom had a really bad odor! As for the snack bar they serve popcorn sodas, hot chocolate, coffee, candy, French fries, hamburger, hot dogs, pretzels. Funnel cakes. So if you are looking for something without salt you may want to bring it with you. 😂 This place is a great place to take the family on a summer early autumn evening. Note this place doesn't have a playground for the...
Read moreIn season my heart unfortunately belongs to another place, but my experience at Shankweiler's was very positive. I love the drive in so when I found out they were still open when everyone else is closed I had to try them out. The gentleman who scanned my ticket was friendly and remembered me on my second visit. The people in the concession stand were polite and the prices are very fair and every time I saw the co-owner walking around he was smiling. You can tell he is definitely doing what he wants in life which will certainly be reflected in his business. My first visit I watched Wakanda Forever/Thor and came back last weekend for Planes, Trains and Automobiles/Paul Blart. The concession area seemed to run much more smoothly the second visit so I'm sure they will only continue to improve. I'd say my only gripe is a lack of locks on the bathroom stalls. While it has not yet, I could see that leading to an embarrassing situation 😂 I plan on going back again this upcoming weekend for The Grinch/Gremlins so I would say I believe I like the place 😁 Staff 5/5 Food 4/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Picture Quality...
Read moreWe it give it 2 stars. Poor screen quality. Drive-in needs a updated bigger screen for a crowd base. How can movie goers enjoy the movie when the, screen isn't big enough to spread over the entire Drive-in viewing area. Parking, is another huge poor quality. It also, needs a upgrade. You need to get Staff members directing customers exactly to where parking spaces are vacant an available instead of a free for all. Disorganization is a fail safe for accidents to take place. An I know this for a fact. At tonight's show, I pulled into a space meant for my van & a car backed right up into my van. This is why Walkie-Talkies where invented!! Your employees that direct the incoming vehicles should have more organization!! To avoid such incidents. My family night could've been ruined due to this incident. Especially, seeing that the driver & occupant were a bit tipsy😒😳😬😬😵 Being the kind person I am, I let it go. Even though my 4month old $30,000 Chrysler took a good size scar from it. Won't be...
