BEST FOOD FROM THE BEST PEOPLE I went in for the first time looking to buy one stalk of parsley for a recipe for my wife. My teenage boys were going crazy over the fruits, Michigan Farm to Table products, and veggies (yep, teenage boys going crazy for veggies) and we walked out of there with two bags of farm fresh food and some of the veggies didn't make it home! We were helped by Rhonda and she was an absolute gem to us. Don't be fooled by the perceived small size of the premises. The big stores put all their effort into presentation (signage, inefficient coolers so you will just grab things so you don't have to open a door, et cetera), but at Alexander's they put their effort and commitment into product and people. I guess you can decide, which is better for you and yours. After today, I've made my decision.

This will be the second year I started coming here on several people's recommendations. There is always a great selection of plants and vegetables. PRO TIP: Get here early in the season... The plants that they have in the first week or two of opening are a great deal for their size, a large 4in tomato plant will cost you less than $3. One big thing I did notice this year was that they dropped the Cell size of the vegetable saplings from 4 to 3 but the price stayed the same $1.99. a lot of places are still charging the same price for a 4 cell. I'm not too worried about this though because the plants were very healthy.

I have never been some place with such a large variety of plants, herbs, Peppers, vegetales, roses, Hostal, etc.!!! Absolutely beautiful and we'll organized. I brought my sister whose visiting from Texas and think I've become or will be learning to become a gardener of sorts. I just went nuts there. If ur looking for a particular plant this is "The Go To". Unfortunately there is only 1 line for this mass property so don't go there in a hurry. We went there at a not too busy time of day. Thank goodness!

While the prices are good and the selection is reasonable, I was concerned with the staffs lack of care in the current circumstances. No staff wore masks and approached or passed by at very close distances speaking in loud voices without masks. I realize we were outdoors. But, 99% of their customers were wearing masks. And as noted, there were situations where we were nearer than 6 feet from unmasked staff who were talking loudly. Guidelines make it clear that wearing masks even when social distancing, I did not feel comfortable and would have left if I was alone. We did our best to avoid speaking to or passing staff in the narrow greenhouse aisles. I get it’s hot and humid, bilirubin masks only work if both people are wearing them. We were at Frog Holler before and all star interfacing with or in the vicinity of...
