So, I was having utility trailer wiring issues (I know ... ugh!). After trying everything I could think of, including a new wiring harness and new lights, I was stumped. Many of my “electrically gifted” friends were also at a loss. I decided to just have someone else do the job for me. I gave Big Tex Trailer World a call and was greeted by someone who was actually willing to troubleshoot what I had done, and what might be wrong. I asked what it would cost for a whole new wiring set up installed. I was quoted “around $225”, maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less. I figured that was a small price to pay for my sanity and was told to bring it right in. When I got there (thinking I would leave the trailer and return another day) the young man behind the counter (I’m sorry I didn’t get his name) asked me to pull it up near the shop. He came out with his tester and other apparatus and proceeded to troubleshoot what I already had in place. I mentioned I didn’t want to waste his time, and was just willing to get my work replaced. He continued on. Then he went inside the shop and returned with a sliding dolly and proceeded to get under my trailer and continue looking and testing. He found a small tear in the wiring harness I had installed. He told me that I could splice that easily and it should work fine. Then he said “I just saved you a $225 repair bill!” I was flabbergasted. It’s so unusual to find that kind of commitment to customer service these days. I asked if I could pay him something, but he said “no.” Now, “technically” I’m not an ACTUAL customer at Big Tex Trailer World because I didn’t have to pay anything. I know this, though .... In the end, I left the dealership with a great trailer that met my expectations, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The outstanding customer service I received from the team transformed my initial disappointment into gratitude and appreciation.

Very displeased with my experience to say the least bit especially after they ran my credit and came at me with a 12% interest rate having damn near perfect credit with no explanation of why. I also asked directly what type of loan they ran my credit for And they would not answer. I expected to have my credit ran for an RV loan like the last two trailers that I purchased But apparently not, I was approved for 11.49% Almost positive it was a personal loan. Either way, I did not accept the terms of their loan They asked me why, even though I wasn’t obligated to explain I did and said the financer is predatory, and I think the interest is extremely high. They don’t seem to understand just because I was approved for a loan does not mean I have to leave with one of their trailers. Sales rep was Arrogant seem to think That they were my only option for getting another trailer Just wanted me to accept the deal and was trying to convince me that all other Interest rates from other places we’re gonna be about the same when I know for a fact that’s a lie, I don’t like liars. I don’t have anything against big tex Trailers or any of their franchises because I haven’t yet been able to purchase one of their products but I’ll be damned if one of their financers is gonna stop me from getting another...
