(Want to add this review also in part can go along with their sister building they own barely down the street called Mims) This is a good little store if you need something in a pinch, but with their small size, limited product selection, and the prices continuing to rise in a community with many on fixed or tight incomes, it's hard to justify not just driving over the border (barely) to Cha's in Winchester, or the next town over (Bernardston) to Marshall's for their deli, fresh made to order deli sandwiches, and actual hot meal selections. The connected hopefully "bakery" next door to the IGA has been worked on for years now, but still sits unused and closed (besides opening for a short timed town event every so often like a spot to grab candy for trick or treating) when if it or some restaurant style place was put it then it would actually be a wonderful addition to the town of an useful business to try to boost reasons to want to actually stop and spend time in Northfield rather than drive through. I will say the workers are always very nice when I do stop in rarely for a quick need, which is always important with staff.
