Northfield Creamie — Restaurant in Northfield

Ah, Northfield Creamie... Here's the deal. I grew up going to this place and have always loved it. But for the last near-double-decades, it's become even more special to me. First of all, there are NO--absolutely NO--better, tastier, or more CREAMY creamies in the universe. I can attest, cuz I've had them all over the world and this country. And, if you're not a soft-serve kinda folk, they have an ever-increasing (but always consistent) selection of delicious, local hard ice creams. So, I usually start the season (like today) with a twist, cake cone, "dirty princess" sprinkles (mix of pink and white with some chocolate ones.) Through the summer I will defy my not-too-strong sweet tooth, simply because I feel the need to gorge whilst I can. And, I can. When I finally decided to try a chocolate malted milkshake, I took a chance and had it with SOFT chocolate ice cream. I mean, it's THE BEST soft serve, right? I took one sip and involuntarily shouted, "OH MY GOD!" Like a scene from Katz's deli, everyone wanted to know "what she's having...?" A malted damn chocolate milkshake with soft serve. I had several. For brunch. On top of the most ridiculous iteration of soft-serve, ever...Seeing Tim and Mary is like coming home. And, they have the most fantastic eye for staffing! No drab, personality-free people serving up sweet treats. Only erudite and sincerely friendly folk. I'm not even going to go into detail about the chest freezer we bought so my father could stock up on and hoard some Northfield extra-Creamies for the winter. 36 pints lasted 6 weeks. They're impossible to resist! Just like every single, little and large thing about Northfield...

It was yummy...I had the chocolate ice cream with peanut butter sauce(my fav) it's what I always get ..and I ask for extra peanut butter sauce well xx.(I always say I'll pay to make sure I get a lot of it)..well this place let me have it..They gave me the perfect amount of peanut butter sauce all over my heaping mound of chocolate ice cream..even on the bottom it was delicious...they also had a band playing.. it was really cute..lots of people , everyone was , smiling, dancing, and eating ice cream .. ya can't beat that on a beautiful summer day...thank you..definitely recommend, we go as...

Honestly I showed up just before close for them and they were busy and my daughter asks for whipped cream on her cone!!!🤣 of course I said I don't think they do that and the guy working says of course we can! He made such fun with jokes that my normally shy child was laughing and so excited that he went out of his way to make it fun for her!❤ so he put whipped cream on her soft serve ice cream cone and then sprinkles and a 🍒 on top most beautiful ice cream I have ever seen!
