Kolenda Heating is a service provider for the Xcel Home Smart program. I called Home Smart at 6pm on a Saturday and they said to expect a call on Monday from Kolenda. Steve from Kolenda Heating called me two hours after I made my first call to Home Smart asking questions about my furnace problem and asked if he could come out that night to fix it. He came to Grand Forks from Northwood and fixed my furnace problem by 930pm on a SATURDAY!!! The temperatures were about 90 degrees that day so we were thrilled to get it fixed right away. Great Service, l talked to Steve around 9 am about getting the A C going at a house we have near Larimore , (the condenser needed to be connected to the furnace and the system pressurized and wired). I really wasn’t expecting to hear back from him for about a week, but got a call around 3:30 letting me know the job was done and the A C was up and running. My wife was there two weeks later to cut the grass , and the A C was running and the house was nice and comfortable , she sent me several pictures of the work Steve had done and it looks great , very professional ! . Called multiple companies. Kolenda (Steve) prioritized my request because I had zero heat. He was here the same day I called (today), even though the time I called was fairly close to the business closing. He was very friendly, informative, and professional. As of this review, operating hours have passed and he's still going out and taking care of other requests (he literally just pulled away from my house).
