Signatures Supper Club — Local services in Northwood

1st time going. Child rejoiced that it was like 2019 again (no Covid-19 precautions in place-Iowa)! I was a little concerned, but spacing was appropriate without additional precautions and staff hands smelled like hand sanitizer. King size prime rib ($50 Saturday special) was the biggest I had ever seen as it was served to customers. Equivalent to a 6 pound bowling ball, cut in half, and put on a plate. Salad choices, as a side, were more diverse than usual. Pink Squirrel dessert drink was perfect (not strong or watered down). Appropriate kid's menu. Would go again. Great waitstaff, food, an no waiting. Queen prime rib and 10 oz filled mignon...

Our greeting was a rude "Do you have reservations?". We should've turned around and walked out, as the experience went downhill from there. We were seated in the room with the "bar". We couldn't hear ourselves think let alone have a nice conversation - it was very loud with two big groups of diners. The food was subpar. Frozen breaded apps in a cheap basket, shredded lettuce salad with barely enough dressing, to a king cut prime rib that tasted like raw meat slapped on a plate. Food was awesome! Service sucked! Was seated fairly quick. Waited almost 15 minutes for the server to even get our drink order which was done at the same time she took our food order. Our server was the same one that seated us yet she sat us and ignored us for a long time. There was only 2 other tables in her section. So I just don't understand. Food by all means was 5 stars but over all 3 due to service. Everyone has off days I know I do so I'll give it another go and edit this...
