Genuinely bad haircut. Not terrible in the grand scheme of things, but not what I asked for at all. I gave instructions and a reference. I gave him a video and said I wanted it shorter so that it’d grow into what was in the reference video. For context my twin went right before me so I guess he thought we wanted to look similar. Notice in the after photo we look very similar. Also, I told him I wanted my left ear covered and my right ear uncovered so that he’d get the gist of what length I wanted. Instead he cut both sides to the same length (yes, the left side is longer by maybe 3mm) and left a hair flap (??) to cover my ear. I’m sorry but that’s just objectively not a good decision for what I was asking. I should’ve known by the beginning because for some reason everyone is pointed AWAY from the mirrors while getting the haircut. If I was actually faced towards the mirror maybe I’d be able to object to what was happening. I had my grandma fix me up and I assure you looks much much better. Also my hair does part in a different spot from where he parted it while cutting so maybe that adds to the effect of it looking weird to me. I think he mentally said “ok they’re twins. Just repeat what I just did!” NO. Therefore he parted my hair in the middle and etc. We actually part in different spots. Probably my worst haircut, but it’s not hideous. Just not what I asked for in the slightest. The guy was nice and professional though and wore blue latex gloves, which I appreciate. Edit: I would like to mention though that this haircut I have is pretty unique and out of the ordinary (ordinary as in the stereotypical mens’ haircut). I’d probably be better going to a women’s hair salon instead of a salon that’s for men who want to get fades and things like that. Definitely different from what they usually do there so I shouldn’t put too much blame. But the facing away from mirror technique is the devious part. Maybe better access for tools? No idea. If I saw what was happening that’d be helpful for both parties. Still a nice little spot though especially for kids. They keep it...
Read moreHighly disappointed! After a few calls and showing up personally to show the owner what type of frohawk with line designs I wanted, I was told to come following week as to his wife would be able to do it. Mind you he takes my name and number and says he'll give me a call and tells me what day to come and no time. So now it's the following week, thank God I decided to call first on the day of instead of just showing up. And the owner completely forgets about it I guess and says I can come the following week because his wife is unavailable today! Then I told him I no longer need his wife's services due to waiting, I decided to cut it myself and just need the undercut/fade done with line designs instead. After a moment or two he says I can come in later today and he'll line me up at 5:45... Or so I thought! I arrive and it's CLOSED! Completely unprofessional. (* hours of operation says it was updated 3 weeks ago. Says they're open from 9-8pm 👍🏽)Back to driving out of...
