Shaffer's High Sierra Camp, Inc. — Local services in Novato

My daughters have been attending Shaffer's for the past four years and intend to do so as long as they can. The location is beautiful and actually feels like a camp and not a "rustic resort", and the activities are fun and varied. Nevertheless, all that would be worthless if not for the staff, and the staff at this camp is what makes it such an incredible place. It starts at the top in the front office and does not stop. My kids regularly talk abut their counsellors all year long and get very excited when they hear who is returning and disappointed when their favorites move on. My son has had the BEST time at Shaffer's HSC the past 4 years. It is his favorite summer activity by far. As a parent, I feel that my son is safe and in good spirits the entire time that he is away.
