I played here today and had a mixed experience. Got some weird negative treatment from a staff member. The course is a nice approachable par three with few obstacles and almost no opportunities to lose balls. A great "intro to golf" course with a couple longish holes around 200 yards. I wrote a long review about the negative experience, taking my time, but decided to get some sleep and maybe re-post that later, but email it to the chain of command either way. It was unacceptable. Three separate things, one of which maaay be reasonable but two were bs. Maybe the guy was having a bad day. I don't know. It was pretty upsetting. He told me I couldn't buy a single ball even though they have a container of single balls. And gave me a horribly damaged putter then refused to give me a different one, even though there were many rentals available and I later confirmed the others were in great shape by comparison. He also refused to let me leave some of the rental clubs at the pro shop. I only used a handful of them and wanted to leave four to not carry the extra weight. Maybe that one is reasonable I don't know. Felt like he was being discriminatory in some capacity. Maybe it was my clothes, I'm stuck here for a day and was dressed more for the beach, don't have golf clothes. But it's a beginner course on base, nobody I saw was...

Excellent little course to hone in your iron play, or just mess around and have fun! Every hole is under 200 yards except the 9th at around 215. Only takes about an hour with 1-2 people to finish a round and only costs $10 bucks ($15 if you want to do it twice). At the price and small time it takes to finish a round, you can easily play a few times a week and still spend less $ and time than 1 round at a normal course. No collard shirt dress code and overall a very laid back course... If you're a beginner, you won't have that "I don't want to hold people up" or "I'm nervous with all these good golfers around" feeling. Has a small chipping/putting area to practice on Usually not very crowded Staff is friendly Has a bar Open until 10PM if you want to get a glow ball (golf ball that has a light inside of it) and play at night...

I enjoy this par 3 course. I am just learning how to golf really, and it's a good place to start. Costs are reasonable, and they have equipment rentals as well. I especially like that they have night golf, since I work in Waikiki and by the time I get off and home, most coarses are closed. Final tee time is at 8 pm. They have a nice putting green and a chipping green to get a pretty all-around practice or warm up in before your round. They have a kickball golf course built in as well, so you can bring your little ones for that experience! There is a small bar there as well. Hole 9 is by far their longest hole, which is almost as long as a par 4 (seems that way to me).

All in all, I highly recommend this course for those with...

Military course. ID required. Fun little par 3 course. Nothing challenging. Most holes are straight with no hazards on the course. All the holes are less then 200 yard, except for hole 9 which is about 208. The tee boxes are a little beat up but the greens were nice. Fees are less than 20 and a great discount to play 18 holes. They have push carts and golf carts for rent. They offer command/large group functions. The course has a few nice views of the mountains. A nice way to get in a quick after work round of golf!
