Online experience was atrocious!

I ordered a kit and added this clarifier (Shock Wave UV 36-Watt In-Line Ultraviolet Clarifier - HOP-SW-36

Brand: Half Off Ponds) at the end where it was listed to go with my kit as an add on. It does not fit the hose nor fittings in my kit. When I called to discuss, I was hung up on. I wasn't rude, but when I was told he wasn't familiar with this item, I just asked to speak to someone else who was. The item does not fit my kit and therefore is useless to me. I am not going to force some fix when I was sent the wrong fit, that's what was suggested when I called back. BTW, he was kind and did not hang up on me at least. I have called and left messages about this with no reply. It looks like a cheap plastic bit of tubing with a uv light and two cones to try to make work on different systems, but not large enough for the 21/2" pipe that came with kit. Very disappointing, I suggest working with the pond guy instead. At least they are kind, knowledgeable and responsive. No complaints about products I have...

Following a phone call with Brandon and explaining our pond lighting issue, he sent the appropriate four prong cord and last evening I was able to change it out and to our great joy - once dark arrived - the light system on our fountain pond was glowing in all colors. We are very pleased with the support we receive from Half Off Ponds and we have only used them for all of our fountain and Lighting needs for the past three years. We have had great success with the products and despite the lightning strike one year ago, they still have helped us through everything regarding replacement pieces and we will certainly use them again.
