Angelic Roots — Local services in Oak Creek

I've been going to this shop since it opened and really like the selection they have. I debated even writing this review because usually when I go in everyone is very kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I always bring my special needs sister with me and the girls upfront are great with her. To the point she gets very excited to go in, sometimes her excitement can be a noisy. Developmentally she shfunctions at about a 3 year old level so sometimes expressing emotions or controlling them can be hard. Yesterday in particular she was really excited to show one of the girls her new shoes. She was a little loud and I did remind her to use an inside voice. I wasn't aware there was a session going on when we were there as we hadn't even made it to that end of the studio. Had I known I definitely would've redirected her or taken her out to cool off. The woman leading the session came out very upset. Which is understandable, she was being noisy, but I don't believe the way she approached me was acceptable. She was very aggressive and it was specifically directed at just me which made me very uncomfortable. I was the closest to that end of the shop so I believe she just assumed it was me. Even so, I think there is a way to talk to people. I felt like she was very unkind and I felt very unwelcome. And I'm not sure I'd ever feel comfortable taking my sister to this shop again after...

I could not say enough good things about this place! Everyone there is so wonderful and welcoming! Laurie and Djuro have created not only a wonderful retail space, but also a wonderful community as well. I've been coming here just under a year now and I wish I had known about it sooner! The crystal selection is AMAZING! Everytime I'm in there, I find something new that begs me to bring it home 😂 In addition to being a store, they also offer classes, both from them, and outside practitioners. Amy is absolutely incredible and one of my favorite teachers there 💜

Sound Baths, omg, everyone needs to experience a Djuro and Laurie Gong Bath at least once! Djuro is a master with any instrument he picks up but him playing the Gong is one of my favorite sounds.

I almost forgot, Instagram Live Sales!! So much fun and is such a great way to see new arrivals and crystals you might otherwise miss in store. Lauren typically runs it and I could listen to her talk about crystals all day long! 💜 she is such a kind and warm human! (Everyone at Angelic Roots is quite honestly)

I could spend all day gushing about how much I love this place but I'll just stop here. So basically GO TO ANGELIC ROOTS! 💜 you will not be disappointed!!

I am so impressed with Angelic Roots and have been from the very start! I found Laurie and Djuro first on Etsy and what impressed me first was: I was interested in some amber bumblebees. They weren't "you choose", but Etsy said there were only 3 left so I took a chance and asked if I could see pictures. The answer was absolutely and a very quick posting of pictures on Instagram. I thought that was above and beyond. That's when I found out they have an Instagram shop too. I bought some bracelets. Then I saw the live shows. So amazing! Every Tuesday and Thursday by the way, plus others as they come up. I also learned they have an online website and 2 brick and mortar stores! And it's not just crystals either. The coolest thing I've learned so far is about excavation trips they take and you can go with them and mine your own crystals. And the most recent thing I learned (and did) is that you can schedule a personal shopping experience and connect on Instagram and they show you what you want to see.
