2 days ago me and my life-partners Ford Escape started having severe electrical problems:locking of the steering wheel, screaming lights, delaying starting and rough shifting. Our car has dozens of recalls, and bad power steering. A lemon. After being traumatized by Peggy (the ford), we needed something reliable. The only problem was that on day 1 we had no idea what features made a car reliable. I called my mechanic and begged for help. And help he did. All of his time and effort for free, just to help us. I am forever grateful. Without his knowledge and compassion, we would have gotten the first car on the lot that was in our price range. Our mechanic took us straight to Nick when he realized that we should get rid of the escape and move on to something better. Although we didn’t get our dream car that day, Nick spent hours talking to us about options. Answered every open-ended question, even if we weren’t sure what we were really asking. Just needing information. Needing someone to tell us like it is. Over the past 2 days we have been to 6 dealerships and every place except for Nicks didn’t listen to a word we had to say. They found out our signer had money and they continued to try to sell us a newer car, way out of our price range and not what we asked for time and time again. They only saw $$$. Nick saw an opportunity to help and make a life-time customer. He dealt with high emotions from all of us with empathy. He completely surprised us with the red carpet, making us feel like we made the right decision, after being so scared to make one. Our new car is detailed beautifully and the detailer was so sweet!
