The best spot in Yosemite in my opinion. This view overlooks the entire Yosemite Valley and offers viewers a classic traditional overview of Yosemite. Minutes away from the western side entrance to the park, you can not miss this as this leads you toward the eastern entrance and Centennial Dome and Glacier point. Get your cameras ready and smiles sharpened as you will want to take several photos here. A couple tips; This place is usually packed with tourists and parking can be a bit challenging during peak times. Be prepared for the foot and car traffic when attending. Go here first !!! This is the best bang for your buck, easiest way to enjoy the spectacular grandeur of Yosemite. Anyone who can sit in a wheel chair can get thrills here. Sunsets can get cold in the fall. For great photography without adding fake moons etc that will become challenge for us mortals who have a spouse, have plans for dinner (sunset turmoil) or just are not in good recent practice for the view is narrow and the amount of trees before the Village is quite long and extensive.
