I can't say enough good things about Noah and the incredible work he did on our koi pond. When we bought our house, the pond was in pretty rough shape, with a waterfall that was more of a trickle and a filtration system that required constant upkeep. Enter Noah, who turned the whole situation around.

First off, Noah got the waterfall back up and running beautifully. It’s now the soothing, picturesque feature it was always meant to be. It was about a year ago when Noah accepted the job of rebuilding our waterfall after we’d determined it was the place in our 2500 gallon pond system that was leaking. He proposed a couple of solutions before we finally decided to use a spray on polyurethane sealer over a recreated natural rock and cement bed. He took on the project with enthusiasm and coordinated all aspects of the job successfully. He carefully redirected the water course flow for enhanced aeration and increased visual interest and selected and then placed all of the new water plants to be incorporated into the landscape. The level of artistry and creativity required for the successful completion of such a job is significant.

Throughout our time together Noah was pleasant and courteous, listened well, and was never condescending. He was generous with his time when answering questions or explaining a concept, or educating us for the best methods of pond maintenance and care. It soon became evident that not only did he truly care about the success of our project, he truly cared about all aspects of environmental stewardship.

I have become a very grateful and satisfied customer of Bay Area Koi Ponds. Noah came to the rescue of my 30 year old pond. Cracks developed in the waterfalls that were so large that I was afraid it was going to be a complete rebuild. He told me he would do everything he could to avoid this. He was true to his word. He used his many years of expertise to evaluate any contributing factors. After extensively digging underneath the falls he found the real problem. The liner had failed in multiple places due to ground settling and slippage. He was able to reinforce the position and shape of the liner using rebar, wood, large rocks and cement. It is obvious the liner is not going anywhere for a very long time so my waterfall will be secure as well. He added new plants to the area to make it look far more beautiful than it was before. He has an amazing sense of artistry. He finished with repairing the cracks and went the extra mile to leave me with a gorgeous looking secure waterfall and pond. Over the years I have used multiple pond repairmen (before Noah) and none of them come close to the level of quality work that Noah provides.
