I have been to Moler Barber College 7th St. a few times, first time was a ok experience the young barber did a great job I was impressed with his passion for barbering, the next time that I came the young lady at the front desk was,, rude and didn't have any customer service skills, I paid and was told to just walk to the back and this experience wasn't as great at the first time. I was in Hayward and I saw a Moler B C and stopped for a haircut WOW what a difference experience from the time that I walked in and until I Departed. The lady that carried herself as a manager, made sure to take me to the barber and give instructions and came back to make sure things were right. This location is very professional and treat their clients with care and respect. I have returned many times. On 05/22/25 I was in Oakland and was on 7th Street and I went into the barber college to get a haircut paid the fee and was told to walk to the back there was no one there to assist or greet I had to walk around to find a barber but at the same time there were people that were not barbers loitering in the cutting area 4 of them.Where are the instructors it appeared to be a free for all. I will not patronize this location again, I'm done with ghetto business tactics. Why can't we have a professional business atmosphere like the one in Hayward. I live in Oakland but I will drive to Hayward just for the great...
Read moreI took my three boys to this location yesterday April 4th 2018 to get haircuts, but regretted going in there. They were so disrespectful, uncivilized, rude, unprofessional. They were using all kind of inappropriate words, unaware of the presence of children. Of course I understand that it's a school, but they were absolutely not suited for the business of serving the public. One of my kids received a wrong haircut, and instead of being apologetic, the students were actually laughing and making fun of the whole situation. The student even asked me whether I can read, just because I was trying to tell him how and what I wanted the haircut to be. The teachers did not help the matter neither, they were trying to be on the side of the student, instead of trying to difuse the situation. I have been going to Molers for more than 12 years, even before i had kids but I have never been disrespected in that manner. I feel extremely sorry for the owner of this business. I just told a friend of mine who has also been going there for as long as I have, and he just informed me that he has since stopped going to Telegraph Avenue (Oakland) shop/school because of their...
Read moreI had taken my brother and sons for haircuts which were satisfactory so I decided to take a chance and have my fist haircut at Moler Barber College, Oakland. I went there Friday 2/1/2024 after work approximately 7pm. Was expecting similar services as my sons and brother, but my haircut is absolutely TERRIBLE. I showed the student a picture and he was honest enough to indicate that he's not sure that he can do it. I motioned to Cisco and informed him. Cisco assured me, that the student can definitely do my haircut. I asked the student to call T for help. T noted some mistakes and helped the student, Jose, clean it up a bit, but had to catch her ride home and asked Cisco to step in. I felt Cisco was rushing and didn't seem to want to help the student. and really rushed with directions and off he went. Felt bad for student and myself. My head looks lopsided now.-like half of a box top Bad experience. my hair looks TERRIBLE. I'll l HAVE to wear a scarf to work till it grows back, HORRIBLE ,...
