This quaint little market is in an unknown area of Oakland. They have an excellent and diverse selection of pastries, produce, beverages, deli, packaged goods and pretty much anything you could need. The prices are high, but the location is a bit obscure so it is kind of a funny little place. Parking is super easy, they have a lot of spaces right outside. They also have four tables to sit out should you choose to sit outside and enjoy something you purchased.

High-end boutique market with just about everything you need The good: -- Nice selection of meats, including cuts from Niman Ranch -- Decent beer and wine selection -- Well-stocked with fruits and vegetables, canned goods, spices, etc. -- Friendly staff, ready to help and answer questions The bad: -- Nothing to gripe about, but know that you're paying more for many items than you would at Safeway or Vons.

One of the best Markets around! I love the organic produce. Cheese selection is to die for! I don't drink beer but they have a great selection!

Today I called the manager of this Market, one I used to buy from exclusively and often. The purpose of my call was to understand if or where they donated their excess food. I was calling on behalf of starving seniors in their homes. Cold heartedly, and unprovoked, this person defended their long standing relationship with a large solicitor of food donations that is known for not re-distributing to people in dire need of food currently. It would be like if you were standing in front of them hungry and they wouldn't feed you. As consumers, we have purchasing power. Where you spend has a direct impact on your community. If you would feed your neighbor experiencing food insecurity and this business wont, why patronize an establishment who treats people like this and...

Nice "quick-shop" in-a-pinch grocery store. Any retail shopping in the Oakland Hills will set ya back abt 20% more gross... But consider it a convenience tax for its ideal location. There's plenty of artisinal brands, organics, locally sourced goods; plus plenty of conventional brands found in the metro macro-markets. Nice staff, helpful. A great alternative for locals not wanting to drive further. Plus, the Piedmont/Montclair demographic shouldn't notice the inflated cost doing their basic/moderate procurement of standard daily provisions. They have a deli, which I saw from afar. I missed the beer/wine section also... I'll go sometime & survey what I missed today. I'm sure there's a...

This company is the worst place I ever worked for. Management are rude and seem to treat you nice, but behind your back they are talking about you. The owner is very special and hired me just for the holidays after hoildays were over he fired me without giving me a reason. I think it was very unethical and very unprofessional of him to do that. Also some of his employees that been there for a very long time are stealing from him, but yet he still has them working for him. Once again this is one of the worst companys to work for they just use you and when they don't need you, you get fired. DONT...
