Dollar General — Local services in Oakley

Staff here are extremely rude and disrespectful!!!! I politely has asked a young kid named skyler if they had a certain product in the back due to shelf being empty and he scoffed and mouthed off if the shelf was empty then no and he wasn't going to look and to go away! Told the manager on duty named April and would have thought I was robbing the place, she was yelling and screaming at me cause I was lying to her and needed to leave immediately so I did. Won't be coming back cause she called the cops and reported me and trespassed me. So don't ask for anything if the shelf is empty...

This little store is very clean and well stocked.I'm really psyched on it because of all the craft items available. I found good quality markers and tiny trim scissors for my paper art. I also found all of my over the counter meds and some cute hair bands. This store has a huge assortment of dollar items, scads of gift cards and a great selection of phone cards and accessories. Last, but not least, it has a good enough variety of groceries that you can cook a meal without leaving...

i worked here but to be fair i will write this review as a customer and not a former employee. The store is always being stocked and most of the employees are nice and cheerful. If you need help finding something all you have to do is ask even if they are busy they will help you find it. A downside is the bathrooms are always locked but im sure they have their reasons. i wished that they had more of a selection in most every department but its a dollar store what do...
