This store.. hard to describe how it is. Very disjointed and strange. Feels not clean. Employees need to check their physical appearance before being on the floor. I'm not trying to be judgy but a hairbrush, clean clothes (and many needed dental care visits) seem to be the needed here..it's weird. I realize everyone can't afford certain things but if you have a job, you have access to hot water and soap. It's not a pleasant food shopping experience when employees smell and look like they need a bath. I'm not talking about one or two either. Groceries.. the produce was stocked but a lot of stuff was soft. The deli was stocked but certainly a lower quality of deli meats and cheeses, even in the off brands. Lots of items I couldn't locate that were on my list. Either out of stock or not where they normally would be in a WD. I didn't even look at the meats..I smelled & saw too many hygienic needs around that area ,so I skipped it all together. I will drive another 15 minutes (after the first 20-30 minutes) to get to another store. We are way out in the country and this is the closest grocery store to...
Read moreThe person in customer's service was very nasty and disrespectful when she realized that I was waiting to get help about a product. I told her that I did not get the discount of the product that I was buying and that I already paid for the product. She yelled at me, saying that it going to take time and that I have to wait until she can do it. Then the manager came and just refunded the product I have bought without asking me if I want the product or to returned it. Then, I decided to return everything. I told them to keep everything that I had already bought. And that they need to give me my money back. What a nasty disrespeful people work in this supermarket. I will never shop in this supermarket again. DO NOT GO TO WINN-DIXIE LOCATED AT 7131 N. U.S. HWY 441, OCALA FL

Read moreHalf the selection, half the quality for a higher price. I thought Publix cost a lot more, but it's actually cheaper than Winn-Dixie. $150-$200 at Publix gets a week's worth of groceries plus some extra snacks and such. We just spend $200 at Winn-Dixie. We didn't even get a week's worth of dinners, just a couple of nights' worth and a couple of other small items. The reason we got about 1/4 to a 1/2 of what we usually get is because the selection was small, and what we did find was poor quality. So when the bill was on the high side of what we usually spend, it shocked us. We even used the coupons and my dad's customer card. If you think Publix is too expensive, you've been lied to! I will not be shopping at Winn-Dixie again. It's sad people think they're saving money there, especially when it's much more unhealthy and...
