Winn-Dixie — Local services in Ocala

Get in the bakery and check out the new pastries. I've tried 4 different ones so far(2 sweet and 2 savory)and they're yummy. Reasonable prices and they would make a good presentation for meetings. 10/31/25 edited my original review to share this find. I love shopping at this WD. I usually go early in the mornings when it's not crowded. The service I receive is always the best. The bakery, the meat Dept, the deli, and the cashier's are especially customer friendly. The people stocking the shelves always speak. The front desk has helped me with any app questions I have. The service I receive is the service I don't get at our local big box store. The deals offered are usually very good and I try to stock up. I do however miss the Win Win commercials on tv and the way it was presented on the loud speakers in the store. Winn Dixie...

If there was an option for negative stars, that would be ideal for the customer service portrayed. I have never encountered an environment with incompetent front-end representatives. The cashiers obviously not trained or on the same page and had the pleasure of being a bother to the very young manager who was dressed very inappropriately. She constantly came to the rescue with a key and still couldn't manage to manage or solve anything except wasting a consumers time. Meanwhile, in the midst of trying to rub 2 brain cells together, the management material was gossiping about fellow associates' personal business. I usually don't complain but after today and this person who could use more customer experience was at the customer service desk talking away to someone she obviously knew which is fine, but when u have a line late in the afternoon and ur gossiping with someone about ur other employees it can wait. And when asked her if she could help me her reply was everyone has to wait there turn and will get to u when finished sir I have to say after coming to wd everyday but in the morning with linda, this woman could use some manners and respect as far as I am concerned I will not let her wait on me again Tina u need to be more respectful toward ur customer.
