Tractor Supply Co. — Local services in Ocean Springs

As a person of color, it was very discouraging to be treated the way I was in this tractor supply. I go to tractor supplies on a regular basis and have always had good experiences. I walked in expecting to wash my pup but was asked to leave because I had the audacity to complain about the way their system is. I waited and was told that I could not wash without paying first. I would walk back and tell the representative that the washing station was empty but by the time I got back, they had already wrung someone up for the station. This was with them knowing that I was waiting for the station to be empty. I brought this up to the representative and she said to wait at the washing station and then head back up there when they were done. I did just that. When I got the the front, I was told to go back and make sure it was empty. Kinda silly but I did it. When I got back, the representative was kind of giggling and then she saw me and stopped. When I went back to her to confirm that the station was empty, she said the the other representative had already wrung someone up so I would need to wait until they were done. I had spoken with both representatives about needing the station so they both knew I was in line. When I asked to speak with the manager he was the rudest person I had ever spoken with. I told him his system wasn’t good and I was continuously skipped over when needing the washing station. His response was “come up with a better solution then”. I told him that wasn’t appropriate and he was the manager so this was his store and he needed a better system. I was asked to leave after this. Not once was I rude or did I have any negative things to say but this is how I was treated. Went in to purchase a meter for a transfer tank pump. Got to the store and found that it was priced $80 more than from the manufacturer and also a competitor in Mobile. I looked up tractor supply’s policy on price matching (which is great on the website) and went to check out. Cashier told me they would only price match from stores inside the city of Ocean Springs? The cashier then called on her radio for the manager Gina. Gina came out with a less than helpful attitude and confirmed they would only match the price of stores in Ocean Springs. The item I needed was not sold in any other store in ocean springs. Gina then walked off without any explanation. I pulled up tractor supply’s price match policy and showed it to the cashier and she called again for Gina. Gina came back with the same attitude and I showed her the policy from the TS website. She threw her hands up and told the cashier to just give it to me for whatever price and then stormed off. Both the cashier and the manager were rude and unprofessional. However, the blonde cashier that was working the other register made it a point to try to be helpful and friendly and was the only one to reply when I told them thanks and have a good day. I wish I caught her name because she is great and provides exceptional customer service. I have been taking my German Shepard Dogs to the Ocean Springs location for the pet bath and grooming it’s self service . They provide towels shampoo . They never clean it I have cleaned it my self before and after my dogs bath today was the last straw . The smell was so bad the towels were sour I always bring my own towel because my boy is to big for their tiny towels or my dogs would stink after a bath. We complained on the way out 3 different employees standing there no one apologized or anything they just smiled about it. Customer service there is a joke. Then after we got home I noticed we didn’t have the dogs seresto flea collars we called the store to be told they don’t see them . Wow Thieves to boot.
