Stopped in the Ocean Springs location this evening (Friday 09 Dec 22) . First time by the way. Wife and I were seated fairly quick, Server showed up and took our drink order, and brought our drinks. She then took our food order. Seemed everything was good. I started noticing that folks seated around us did not have food yet. And two tables got up and left, I assume from our experience that the server was ignoring them. Not sure how long they had been sitting. Well, 40 min goes by, we had finished our drinks a while ago. Server, walked by our table to go the table behind us at least 7 times and never stopped at ours or even looked to see if we needed anything. I finally went to the bar myself and got us refills. I assume it was the manager, stopped by and apologized for the delay in getting our food. He offered chicken wings on the house. If we wanted chicken wings, we would have ordered them, so we declined. Finally our server in passing stated that she just checked on our order and it "should" be done shortly. Well, the food finally came, by the way someone besides our server brought it. And after the long wait, the food was definitely not worth the wait. We choked down as much as we could, we had been there a long time and was starving by this point. Got the managers attention and ask for to-go boxes and the check. I expressed my displeasure with the service, or lack thereof, and he looked at the check and told the server to deduct 20%. I appreciate the effort, but it was too late. We will not be back.

Read moreRib Crib, first i would like to discuss the service from our waitress (tia) was decent, she was timely an attentive. Appetizers was the nachos which was disappointing because the cheese wasn't hot and our chips were stale. The main course: the ribs weren't consistent on each plate mine were on the dry side while my wife's were tender. my brisket was also a little fatty but ok for the price.. my Okra was fine but a little bland but i guess thats ok for the elderly. The highlight of my plate was the sausage which had a good flavor and a good amount of heat. My kids burger came out over cooked and the bacon burnt so we sent it back and its replacement was edible. Lastly i felt a little cheated when the GM told us our kids desserts were on the house because it was their birthday which i thought was awesome of him but when the check arrived she comped the desserts but when it came to my meal i only received a partial discount despite being told my earlier my entire meal was free (except drinks) since I'm a veteran an it was veterans day.. When I asked Tia about this she said my meal was no longer fully complimentary because my kids desserts were on the house. This made me feel a certain kind of way because we never asked for anything free but if you offer something at the beginning then you should not change it after the meal is over. Read moreRib crib is awesome. Half rack of ribs with sides will fill you up. I like the dry, but the wet is good too. I haven't had anything there that wasn't great, but the ribs are the best. Enjoy.
Update: Rib Crib is one of my favorite places BUT: NEVER again on a Saturday night. EVERYTHING came to the table cold. And that was the temperature of the whole experience. Alright, from the beginning: Server suggestions: Introduce yourself. I still don't know her name. Check on your tables more often. We saw ours when she took our order, when she brought out appetizers, when she brought our meals and when she brought the bill. You should not have been the last one to know that things could be better. Food: Everything brought to the table was cold. This is an area where there is plenty of blame to go around. Kitchen staff should know how long things are taking to get picked up. Servers look at what you are picking up. Manager pitch in to get things moving. All yall can improve here. Managers: Get going or get gone. You should know how to things are going without having to ask customers. Too little, too late.
Positive: ribs are better than ever. The restaurant as always looks sparkling clean. Manager made what appeared to be a sincere effort to fix things.
