The owner assumed I was buying alcohol for myself and denied me a second purchase when I came in. Which is crazy because when I was actively drinking alcohol I'd come in 2-3 times a night. I bought a half pint with two small 99 shooters for an acquaintance. After about an hour the small party of 3 had their drinks. I went to purchase another pint as was told no. I didn't smell of alcohol and I certainly hadn't been drinking it.

So if that's the nonsense problems they want- I can certainly give my money to the other two liquor stores.

And when people ask me the best place. I will tell them M&M liquor by the car wash because it cheaper and the people actually talk to their customers.

I was trying to support small businesses because they sell food items and I'd often buy other produce and was about to get interested in their salsa.

Everything is expensive here. Hope they lose...

Not the cheapest, but they generally have what you need and they're a convenient, locally owned market. Good selection of Mexican spices and other shelf-stable ingredients. I wish they had more variety of Mexican sodas. Produce is hit or miss--usually overpriced and not very fresh. For example, recently they had corn for 1.29 per ear IIRC, and it was really dried out and sad looking. At the Walmart a mile down the road the same day they had corn for 0.50 per ear, and it was much plumper and fresher. Here's a hint, if you price your produce better you will sell more of it, turn it over faster, and hence have better quality. On the other hand, I recently bought a pint of strawberries that was excellent. So, like I said, it's hit or miss. The tacos at the taco stand inside the store are pretty good. I haven't tried the butcher counter yet, but I hear that's pretty...

Very nice place with the local feel right away when you walk inside. Super great market selection with very nice and a clean upkeep.

Selection is wide ranging, more than just the essentials. Nice selection of jerky, fresh veggies, beer, soda and juices. Wine selection is bit smaller but not bad selection of the wines that they do have.

Overall very much exceeded my expectations of a local market place in terms of quality, customer service, variety, and yes, affordability!

Will definitely be my go to place from now on, especially because of how affordable they are! 💰👌
