To be updated. Cocina Del Mar. Nice little family-owned restaurant in the Deep Valley. Corner of Douglas and North River Road. Iāve gotten a few take-outs from here. The traditional battered fried fish tacos are fine. They use double corn tortillasšš½šš½. I prefer their grilled fish tacos. Better are the mahi or salmon tacos. To see the surprise on the face of the cooks when they saw the tickets that had been hanging for the past hour was not even a shock at that point. Then to tell us it'll just be 15 more minutes? At that point since nothing had started being cooked, what is the point of staying there any longer? What a waste of time. Worse yet, there was one young lady that was bringing back the food to the tables on her own as well as bussing the tables herself, all while the rest of the staff did who knows what. How does this place even have more than a single star if this is how they conduct business? Go somewhere else to eat and not have your...
Read more5.0 full stars!! Stopped by there with my man on our way back from San Diego.. and we had one of our best Mexican food experiences ever!!! Esp the surf n turf burrito was AMAZING! A MUST TRY! For me the BEST BURRITO I ever had and my man is of Hispanic origin and it was easily among his top 5..
