Went in to buy some crawlers to head out perch jerkin', and was impressed with the selection for crawler harness blades and components. What i wasnt impressed with was the owners bad attitude. After paying for the crawlers I said thank you to the guy, and most people wouldve said no problem, or you're welcome, or good luck out there today. But he didn't say anything......anything at all. And besides that, he was over me the second I walked in the place. Didn't even give me time to look around. I think that years of being the only bait shop right there by the boat launch has conditioned this man to expect people to buy everything there regardless of not having a very nice approach to customers. And I heard that hes a real jerk to his son when hes around the shop too......regardless of whos around in there or not. I'll probably try to get the things i need from someplace else next time. Because just because you're convenient, doesnt mean I wont shop somewhere else. But good selection of cranks and...

I found the North Shore Bait Company when our team was in Marianette, Wi. for the Cabela's NWT Championships in August, 2017. I was very impressed with the selection of baits made custom for the shop. They had some of the best customs I've seen in a while. In addition to the large selection of custom hard baits, blades, and jigging minnows; they have anything you might need to save a trip. The owner Paul and the staff are exceptionally nice people too. Made a road trip from Green Bay to check this baitshop out. Had a wonderful conversation with Paul about the upcoming Whitefish season during hard water.
