My mother stayed at Odin Health and Rehab for a few months and overall the experience was good for Mom and our family. The staff was very kind and helpful and treated Mom well. The only real complaint I have is with Jill (not sure of her position, but she works in the office.) I found her to be quite incompetent. Every time I had a question or concern, she would say that she would call me back and never did. She was never in her office (this specific part wasn't as big of a deal, I understand she probably has other places she has to be and couldn't always be in her office.) She wouldn't, however, call me back when I left her a voicemail. But the main thing was when Mom was about to be discharged. We had a meeting with Jill, my mother's insurance company, and myself and Jill was assigned one task, to get Mom's hospital bed ordered so that we could have it ready for her a week and a half later, when she was going to be coming home. Two days before Mom's discharge day, we found out Jill had never ordered it. I found her to be quite unhelpful and hope that she does better for the other residents, because while I luckily had a backup plan for Mom for her to sleep until the hospital bed comes in, I imagine not everyone would have said convenience. And to say once again, other than that we had a good experience. The nurses that Mom had during her stay were all very sweet and did everything they needed to do to keep Mom happy and healthy while she was recovering. Lastly, I want to give some love to Barbara who was my Mom's nurse her final day there and was very helpful with getting everything ready for Mom's discharge and answering the...
Read moreOdin Health and Rehab has taken excellent care of my Mom during what was a very difficult time for her after her stroke, and we felt she was in the safest possible place during the Covid 19 pandemic. It was heart-breaking to not be there for her, but employees from every department went out of their way to help make things less stressful for her, including housekeeping, laundry, dietary, activities, CNA's, shower girls, nurses, social services and all the therapy departments. From helping her use her phone or plug in her tablet, find clothes she needed, rearranging her room to help her cope better when she was having a difficult day, many times someone went above and beyond what was required. From the first few days she would remark that "some of the sweetest in people in the world work here". She loved the meals and said her housekeeper kept her floor shining. She wanted to be home so badly but got nervous when we talked about it, as she knew she couldn't take care of herself yet. I feel Odin had become her...
Read moreI been told if I couldn't say anything nice growing up does say it at all. But since this was most recent experience for concerned about my love one. I got to do what is best with my love one! I don't want anything to happen to my love one! I'll give the some staff credit. Thank you for trying! The head nurse and doctors been wonderful when it came to giving my love one medications! Above all I wouldn't recommend my family or love ones to be there for permanently. Thank you for letting me give my feedback. I'll keep you all in my prayers! Hope one day people will take others serious more. My fault I didn't tell the case worker about the concerns about my love one. But I did complain to the nurses about my love one! Just didn't been taking seriously. So I had to do what is best for my love one. Even when that is to remove them from this place. Thank you all again for trying your best on some...
