Horrible experience at the pharmacy today. Went to the drive through, was told my prescription would be $75. I knew that wasn't right because my prescription coverage website told me it would be about $4. Went in to sort it out- presented my new prescription card to the cashier and explained the situation and showed her the prices on my coverage website, she went back and talked to the pharmacist, then came back and told me it would be $8. I asked how they got that number and she said there was a mixup with billing with my insurance and a discount card. Then, just a few minutes later, I got a call from the pharmacy that there was a change in my billing and I need to call the store. They didn't really have an update, but I got to the bottom of the story and it sounds like they tried processing my prescription with my old insurance (not the card I presented to the cashier) which would have been the $75 bill but then charged me with some discount card they had behind the counter. I was never told about this discount card and think my bill would have been less if they had actually taken the time to compare the insurance card I was presenting vs the insurance information in their system. The pharmacist on the phone said that they would not be able to reprocess through my insurance without additional paperwork from the doctor, which is not worth my headache. I get it that it's busy at the pharmacy - maybe they are intentionally creating awful customer experiences so that they can drive away customers and have less business. You've succeeded with me - time to check...
Read moreI've had intermittent problems with this pharmacy but tonight was by far the worst experience. It took 45 minutes to get through 4 cars in the drive through. When it was finally my turn, I figured I'd be in and out in minutes. I quickly learned why it was taking over 10 minutes per car.
The lady working the window was unable to find my daughter's prescription, despite us having a text that it was ready. I must have spelled my daughter's first and last name 10 times. Finally, the lady called over the pharmacist and he found the prescription immediately. I finally go to pay and the lady throws open the drawer into the side of my car. I put my cards back in, and in the course of her pulling the drawer shut the cards fell out and under my car. This can probably happen to anyone, but has never happened in my probably 50+ times of using this drive through. I had to crawl under my car to get my cards. No apology offered or anything. I then realized she was staring at me and possibly speaking (she had a mask on so I couldn't tell) without the microphone on. It ended up taking me 10 or 15 minutes to get one simple prescription once it was my turn, and 45+ minutes total. Why you would have someone working a drive through during the busiest time who cannot understand people and cannot communicate clearly is truly beyond me. Needless to say, we'll be going elsewhere...
Read moreOver the last several months the quality of service has declined to a point where I’m about to pull my prescriptions and go somewhere else. There have been numerous times they haven’t had a medication in stock for a prescription that is filled monthly. There have been several times I’ve been told my prescription would be ready at a certain time only to find out that it’s not ready, or that they couldn’t fill it because they are out of stock. This is usually after I’ve sat in their drive through for 15+ minutes. A phone call or text would be greatly appreciated in those cases. They’ve lost prescriptions that have been called in or digitally sent. I have a busy family and to swing by the pharmacy to pick up a prescription shouldn’t turn out to...
