I won't even give them a rating. The case worker Victoria who had a complaint about a youngman who was thrown out of his house, by his Mother, at two am with Who was living in horrible domestic violence , abuse-neglect. This youngman is only 17 teen. His Mother gets child support and using it for herself. This youngman was homeless on the street. Mother didn't not contact him in anyway to find out if he was alive-sick-or need cloths. I understand that Victoria spoke with his Mother and closed the case Guess Victoria does not know the law on Abuse and Neglect of a Minor. His grandparents and other friends of his along with myself have tried to call her with information about his living condition. But she will not return the calls. I have spoken to an Attorney- and other court employees about this youngman. Somthing will get done.

I just left the dhs location at 2409 N Kelley because when I arrived they had a sign up saying they were closed for remodeling?! Crazy! I've used this dhs location for many years and they are an absolute fabulously run organization. Currently I'm the only one in the waiting room and it's usually like this. Yes the drive is 30 miles away from okc but well worth it in my opinion. I shouldn't even be here but the location on Kelley sent me a notice of cancelation in my 4th month? Not to worry though because I just had Talonavicular foot fusion and will have reverse shoulder replacement next month so I will get a years worth of snap benefits without question.

Well…..your new “no contact” services have one little bitty problem…..after going through endless crap to fill out the application….I was told I can’t get my benefits until I “talk” to someone. Please tell me the point of “no contact” services and then demand that I call a number that is closed for the day already(it’s now 1:11) AND has been that way all week.

Clearly…..someone has not thought this thru.

Interestingly I called the state office three times in a row, was on hold a half hour and abruptly disconnected, called back on hold for 14 minutes and disconnected again, called back a third time and was told the phone system is closed for the day. This is supposed to be a working phone system…..THAT CLIENTS CAN CALL…..from 7 am to 7 pm. That’s clearly NOT what is occurring. Aren’t y’all supposed to be there until 4:30?

It’s fairly clear that DHS does NOT want human contact….because getting a human on the phone is a physical impossibility. I need a solution…..not endless prompts to a dead end hang up. Which is what EVERY single person I have spoken with about this has received. Every person I hone that is on food stamps in Oklahoma HAS NOT been able to get a live person on the phone.

Now my food stamps and medical will be cut off. Without my medications….I won’t live long. Not that THAT concerns DHS. I’m beginning to believe that’s how you get elders off your caseload.

Please take some of the millions that are spent on executive salaries for DHS employees….and use it to improve your “no contact” system….because your current system is an abysmal failure. I think it would be a great improvement to improve your archaic website that makes an applicant start over each time they make a typing mistake. This agency should have stuck with typewriters and in person interviews.

Come on Oklahoma DHS! You can do...

Worst place ever, I went in on Sunday to look for a dog and I found some puppies that I wanted unfortunately I was not able to adopt because the puppies were under weight and they were no vet on site I agreed to foster to adopt two male puppies and agreed to pick them up this afternoon when I walked in another couple was taking the puppies I was going to foster and adopt the supervisor of the facility preferred to let this couple take them instead of Me when they clearly knew I was going to foster them. One of the representame when they clearly knew I was going to foster them. One of the associates clearly told me that they were for me but they preferred this couple because it was a rescue team and she clearly told me that the reason why was because they had their own vet and we’re paying out-of-pocket for all of these puppies care I felt humiliated talk down upon on like I didn’t matter like I was a rodent because I was going to use them for this puppies care once I adopted them. And they clearly let the rescue team take them home even though they were underway but told me I couldn’t because of that reason. So please if you aren’t a millionaire don’t attempt To adopt from this place because they clearly prefer people with money. Never again will I step foot in this place I’ve never been humiliated in my life by...

This place is a sham! Half the people that work there either don't want to do their job or are so incompetent on their own policies that they CAN'T do their jobs. I've been trying to correct things on my case since December 10th, it's now January 15th and the case worker refuses to return a call or email. I had to call and leave a message with her supervisor stating she has refused to input all the info I gave her, she in fact altered my application to say I don't pay any bills! I called the supervisor, surprise surprise, got a voicemail and had to threaten to just come in and file for a hearing due to gross negligence and incompetence on the case workers behalf. If they are there to give assistance, how does it help if I lose my job due to having to take off work to drive up there and sit??? So I can be in a worse position than I'm already in??? This place needs a serious overhaul on their hiring standards, between the rude ladies in the front desk that will hang up on you repetitively and the case workers not knowing how or refusing to do their jobs! You are paying employees that...
