Probably the worst I’ve ever been treated in quite sometime. Let’s start this with some background. First, me and my girlfriend had traveled to McAlester to go on a hiking trip the following morning. A mile from our hotel, we wanted to relax and unwind at the casino, have a drink or two, play some slots. We signed up at the Players Club, ladies were friendly. We used our state issued IDs. Issued cards. Then, before we sat down to play we thought it would be nice to get a drink. So we walked over to the bar. Wasn’t greeted or acknowledged. Two other patrons walk up and the female bartender gets the first guys order but the second guy says ‘they were before me’ and she takes our order. They didn’t have our drinks so we decided on Coronas, then she abruptly asks for our IDs. No biggie only that we’re in our mid 40s and we haven’t had a drop of alcohol yet. The young female bartender looks at my girlfriends ID, which is out of state Arizona ID, and it has the corner chipped off. It’s not hiding any expiration date whatsoever and says ‘I can’t accept this sorry’ and takes the next persons order. She was beyond rude. So here’s my question Choctaw Casino: if her ID was good enough to gamble there and be issued a Players Club card, why wasn’t it good enough for a drink? We will never set foot in another Choctaw Nation Casino ever again for the way we were treated....
Read moreI was at this casino on my birthday with my boyfriend. I was taking pictures of him with my camera (small not professional) and enjoying the neon lights.
I was approached by a security guard who told me photos weren’t allowed inside and that's fine. It's private property and they can make whatever rules they want, and I even offered to put it in my car but what happened next was completely unacceptable: he repeatedly insisted that I delete the pictures off my personal camera. I had to tell him multiple times that that wasn't legal for him to do and I will just leave.
For the record, even police cannot legally force someone to delete photos without a court order. It's a violation of constitutional rights. A private security guard certainly cannot. This was a clear abuse of authority and showed a complete lack of training or respect for civil rights.
If this individual is aspiring to be in law enforcement, I sincerely hope someone intervenes, because someone who thinks they can destroy private property on command should not have a badge.
Either way, whether I have to write a one-star or a five-star review, it's a win for me because I get to highlight how hypocritical it is that we have a camera phone in our pocket at all times but suddenly there's hysteria when...
Read moreSlots were ridiculously tight very little payout ended up quadrupling my money finally hitting which seemed to be the theme is that if you've got enough money to keep the slot going eventually it will pay your typical return within the industry I did hit to individual jackpots on the machines which in itself is not a ton of money but in itself is somewhere rare so I do distinctly remember saying these were the tightest Slots of ever played we are getting nickeled and dimed again these are the tightest lots of ever played next thing you know up a thousand bucks literally next thing you know pressing to Max bed but so it was nowhere near the level of service that you experience at a bigger Casino like Indigo Sky or Cherokee Siloam no valet parking I do believe and signing up for Players Club was sorely disappointing waited almost 30 minutes to use my $15 food voucher at the bar and grill there and was not impressed by the food when I finally did get it in fact I took it to go and just left Casino was clean staff was friendly but frankly it was a small environment with a ton of penny slots and very little pay out unless you've got money to spend to continue to play on machines that will always afford some tangible return whether or not it's in the...
