No one greeted. No one offered help. I saw a young man in bright lime green vest and a girl in red shirt chatting. Both work there and I walked up to ask for assistance on buying their chicks. The fellow volunteered and my mother was able to pick out all 20 chicks from the same barrel. It marked at $3.99. As soon as we got to the cashier, the lady noticed that there were all mixed chicks and she said "these feathered feet are supposed to be 8 to 12 dollars and not $3.99. She called the same boy over and asked him about it. He confirmed the chicks were all in one container so someone misplaced them. No one had the knowledge about the chicks and how much the run. I asked many times if I could just get the ones that are $3.99. No one acknowledged my request. The line got really long too but the cashier continued to demand one of the boys to do another task and ignored us completely. They all were unprofessional and not courteous. I was really nice and allowed the person behind me to get rung up. Then after repeatedly asking about selling us the chicks to us. They just walked away and took all the chicks back. My weed eater string fell out. (I’ve never changed it) this is the 3rd weed eater I have bought from Atwood’s. 2 from P&K, also in McAlester. I shoot to Atwood’s to see if I can get help with my pull string. I NEED MY WEED EATER. Van the handy dandy repair man. 🤮 told me there was nothing he could do. He’s booked 3 weeks out. Mind you. This is the pull string. So I was going to return the broken one. Van then tells me he can’t sell it like this. (Broken) I can’t use it either. I could not return it. Store policy…. He told me to go down the road to P&K. I ask van if he could tell me how to fix it…. Says take these screws out wrap the rope around 7to10 times and put it back together. Cool. Thanks big guy. I shoot to P&K, maybe 2 miles down the road. Carry my Atwood’s weed eater in and bam. In 15 minutes Nick had it fixed and showed me how to do it. Not once did he say I can’t help you.

Came in to buy a chainsaw and couldn’t find anyone except the cashier and manager at front. Told them what I needed and manager had to go find someone with the keys. He brought up the saw I paid then was told I had to go back to the chainsaws again to register it before o was allowed to leave. Kinda stupid. Then when we get over there he punches some stuff in the computer and takes the saw and walks off said he would be right back with me. So I waited.
